Our studio is comprised of three photographers and one videographer, with a focus on delivering the highest quality images with the best service and all while having a blast on your wedding day!
Sarah and Kayla have been working for Rob for many years and shoot in the same style that you have come to love from Rob Spring! They have worked right along side Rob, ensuring that we have a consistent look and feel to the images our studio produces. Having three lead photographers in our studio allows us to accommodate multiple couples on a popular wedding date, and work with couples who would like to stay within a certain budget. No matter who you choose at RSP we are certain that you will be left with beautiful images and memories you will keep for a lifetime!
Rob is the boss and does what he wants. But since he’s surrounded by female employees, he pretty much does what they say. So, he’s not really the boss… but his name is definitely on the sign. Rob graduated from the Hallmark Institute of Photography, where his portfolio was in the top 10% of his class. He and his wife, Rosie, live in Saratoga Springs, NY and have two darling little girls – again, surrounded by women, even at home. Originally from Glens Falls, NY, Rob has worked in 47 of the lower 48 states. If you are getting married in Alaska, Hawaii, or North Dakota, he would like to offer you a substantial discount. He is also writing this in the “third person.”
2018 is Sarah’s fourth year with Rob Spring Photography. Born in Canada, eh, Sarah grew up on Long Island and has a BFA in Visual Arts and BA in Music from SUNY Potsdam. In addition to wedding photography, Sarah has a passion for fine art, travel photography, and cat memes. Over 350 of her photographs have been featured on Vogue Italia’s website, and her photography was shown at Milan Fashion Week in 2012. Things that you can expect from Sarah on a wedding day: sick dance moves, much giggling, and copious amounts of dad jokes. Sarah lives in Saratoga with her husband and 2 adorable cats, but she knows they will never be as cute as Rob and Emily’s children.
Kayla started with Rob Spring Photography in 2009 after graduating from Saint Rose with a BFA in Graphic Design and a Minor in Art History. Working with Rob over the past 9 years had helped her not only become a better photographer, but also honed in her cheesy joke skills. When not behind the camera, you can find her at her computer as a Graphic Designer. Kayla loves to keep your wedding day as fun as possible while capturing the best moments, leaving you with memories that last a lifetime. She’s also a fantastic groomsmen wrangler when they go missing at the bar. Growing up in the Lake George / Glens Falls region, Kayla loves going skiing with her 3 Boys, Shane (5), Jake (3) and her husband Josh (32).
Mitchell lives for adventure. Exploration is his middle name (well actually it’s Alan but please don’t tell anyone). Growing up in Alaska and North Dakota instilled a drive to overcome any challenge and accomplish any task. That drive and curiosity, are what helps him tell stories through the lens of a camera. After developing his interest in photography (pun intended) during his college years, the decision to pursue a creative career blossomed into his role here at RSP. As a cat-dad to three, a father of four human kids, and a husband to the most amazing woman ever, adventure has taken on a whole new meaning.
2018 marks Emily’s sixth year with Rob Spring Photography. Originally from Saratoga Springs, Emily has a degree in Musical Theater from Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, VA. After a decade of performing and living in NYC, Emily decided to settle down, marry her dreamboat Jason, and start having adorable babies. Rob photographed Emily’s wedding in 2011. Shortly thereafter, still in love with all things wedding, she began working in the studio with Rob. True, Rob’s name may be on the door, but Emily does all the heavy lifting around here including assisting, emailing, billing, editing and encouraging unhealthy food choices for Rob.
