Our studio includes FIVE photographers, TWO videographers, and ONE amazing Studio Manager – all working together to bring you limitless possibilities and beautiful imagery.
Rob Spring
I first became interested in photography about 20 years ago, while traveling the country in the Broadway touring company of 42nd Street. Growing up the son of a dance teacher, my first love was tap dancing, but my second love quickly became photography.
Emily Karlitz
I’ve been working for RSP for 10 years. I have a BFA in Musical Theater from Shenandoah Conservatory and enjoyed living in NYC for 6 years before moving back home to Saratoga. My favorite thing about weddings is when the bride and groom cut the cake, taste it and tell everyone “it’s good” hopefully with a thumbs up! I live in Saratoga with my husband, our 3 kids and dog, Phila, named after the street downtown. I am also a connoisseur of cotton candy and chicken fingers. Yum!
Sarah Collins
I’m originally from Canada and grew up on Long Island. After graduating from SUNY Potsdam aka the North Pole, and working for esteemed fashion photographers in NYC, I decided to settle in Saratoga Springs in 2015.
Kayla Herlihy
I started working for Rob Spring Photography after graduating from The College of Saint Rose with a BFA in Graphic Design and a Minor in Art History in 2009. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with our amazing, fun-loving team for 13 years now. Whether it’s trying to get the groom to smile, finding your uncle Greg at the bar when he’s supposed to be at family pictures, or even helping Rob when he rips his pants mid wedding, I am there with a smile and a camera to capture it all (sorry, not sorry Rob). When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me at my desk as a Graphic Designer or skiing down the mountain with my husband Josh and two boys, Shane & Jake.
Dyan Holt
I have always had a fascination with photography going all the way back to high school where I received my first Nikon film camera. I was the weird kid who loved the smell of processing film in the dark room. Fast forward to today and I have worked in just about every aspect of the wedding industry which has given me a unique perspective to events. Becoming part of the RSP family has been an amazing milestone for me. Helping me grow not only as a photographer but as a person too. If I’m not working a wedding or at my day job as a service manager you will find me outdoors with my fur kids or creating new house projects for my spouse.
Matt Scott
My love for travel mixed with my need to be creative lead me to my first real camera back in 2016. A gift from my lovely wife quickly lead to an ever growing love for everything related to photography. Anyone in my life can attest that I cannot just simply have a hobby, so to help me learn everything thing I could I took an intro class with Rob. Since that class I have had the amazing opportunity to work with the best team in the business at RSP. I love being there to capture the moments that will never be forgotten while also doing everything in my power to make anyone laugh! When I am not at a wedding or managing multi-million dollar construction projects, I am on an adventure with my beautiful wife, 2 year old son and adopted Black Lab.
Mitchell Wood
Videographer
I love fun, exploration and adventure. Growing up in Alaska and North Dakota instilled a drive to overcome any challenge and accomplish any task. That motivation and curiosity, are the “special sauce” that help me tell stories through the lens of my camera. I developed an interest in photography and video during my college years but pursued my early career in technical and mechanical fields. After seeing the amazing work Rob and his team offer, I wanted to be a part of a company that stood out from the rest. Fortunately, my decision to pursue a creative career blossomed into a role at RSP and now I’m here to help capture some of the most important memories in life. As a father of four kids, with the most amazing wife ever by my side, my work with RSP has given adventure a whole new meaning.
