We love when couples decide to see each other before the ceremony (First Look) It’s great for pictures because we’re not rushed and it keeps the stress levels down. The best thing is that the couple can actually be AT the party. And not just the couple, but the entire family and bridal party can go to the cocktail hour too and enjoy themselves because the pictures are done BEFORE the ceremony. Occasionally it’s just a matter of timing. No one wants to photograph all of their bridal portraits, family portraits, etc… AFTER DARK – and let’s face it, sometimes the sun sets at 4:30pm during upstate NY winters. We also hear a lot that grooms don’t want to be “deprived” of seeing the bride for the first time – so we make sure it is a special moment for both of you. The best part is that the groom gets his OWN moment to see the bride and doesn’t have to share it with 100 other wedding guests. Here are just a few examples of recent “First Looks.”
